The Hmeimim-based Russian Coordination Center monitoring the agreement said in a statement that terrorists of the so-called "Jaish al-Islam" breached the agreement four times in Damascus countryside, while the other breaches were committed by terrorists of the so-called "Ahrar al-Sham" and the "Free Army" in Lattakia countryside.
The center asserted that 26 new villages joined the cessation of hostilities agreement, raising the total number of towns and areas that are part of the agreement to 530.
The center added that ISIL and Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists continue their attempts to undermine the agreement as they targeted with rocket and mortar shells neighborhoods and towns in Damascus, Hama, Quneitra and Homs.
The cessation of hostilities agreement doesn’t include ISIL, Jabhat al-Nusra or other groups designated as terrorist organizations by the UN Security Council.
